The Mensa IBD 2025 - International Board of Directors Meeting, hosted by Mensa Germany, took place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 23 to 26 October. The event brought together representatives of national Mensas and Mensa International ExComm to discuss ways to further develop and strengthen Mensa worldwide, as well as to shape plans and strategies for the future.
The President of Mensa Croatia, Mario Erceg, together with Alexander Tsoukalas, MI Website & Marketing Manager, held a presentation entitled “From Success Stories to Future Strategies: Member Benefits, Digital Transformation & Future Plans”. The presentation showcased successful initiatives and best practices from national Mensas, while also exploring strategies for continued growth and digital transformation at both the national and international levels.
One of the highlights of the meeting was the presentation of the new International Membership Database project. The project is being developed by Mario Erceg, Alexander Tsoukalas, and Dr. Goran Salamunićcar (Membership Director of Mensa Croatia), as part of the MI Task Force, which also includes individual members of MI ExComm and other national Mensas.
Dr. Salamunićcar also held a presentation entitled “Mensa Croatia Member Data Management: Best-Practice Recommendations for NMs”, focusing on ways in which national Mensas can improve and automate their processes for managing membership databases.
Mensa Croatia also achieved notable success in the creative field. At this year’s Mensa PhotoCup, member Matija Miklaužić received an honorary mention for his incredible photo, while Mensa Croatia ranked 3rd in the PhotOlympics, a new competition organized by Mensa International.
We are also proud to announce that our member and former member of the Mensa Croatia Supervisory Board, Dario Ćorić, was elected to the Mensa International CRC (Constitution Review Committee).
We would like to thank Mensa Germany for the excellent organization, and we look forward to meeting again next year in Romania at Mensa IBD 2026!
