Mensa Croatia has moved up one place compared with last year and now ranks 7th among 42 national Mensas worldwide, with 342 members per million inhabitants. After many years, Mensa Denmark has finally been overtaken in the ranking.
This year’s record number of members made a significant contribution to Mensa Croatia’s progress in the ranking of national Mensas by the number of members per million inhabitants.
The excellent news was announced following the Mensa IBD 2025 – International Board of Directors meeting, held from 23 to 26 October in Düsseldorf and hosted by Mensa Germany.
This is not the first time Mensa Croatia has reached seventh place. It previously achieved the same ranking in 2022, when the competition included 40 national Mensas from around the world. That year, Mensa Croatia also recorded the biggest year-on-year improvement, climbing an impressive six places in the ranking.
